Received 45 day letter from BEC for NEWJERSEY

Priority Date: 28 Mar 2005
Case Source: State
Processing Center: Dallas Backlog Elimination Center



My question is
What should i think, is everything is fine and just wait
What does "T" means in the case number?
Why my case from NJ was sent to Dallas BEC instead of Phi BEC?

"T" is for temporary. It means that they have only done a partial entry for your case. Once full entry is done the T will change to a "P" and you will get the 45 day letter.

Please search thew FAQ next time before posting questions that have been answered many times before. Thanks

We have people here who are trying to keep track of the data entry in BEC and you can help...

Out of this 05 is 2005
XXX is the day of the year when case entered.
XXXXX is the number in thousands...

Please give us more digits of your number..
 
Did anyone get 45 days letter from BEC? I have read in NJ swa thread that there are some people received 45 days from BEC..

I asked for a screen shot after 3 months. The screen shot still say status "Incomplete".The only difference that I am seeing compared to my previous screen shot is that the case recieved date is not blank.All other entries are same . Why is it showing case recieved date now ? God knows.

Is your case receipt date the same as your priority date?

I would say SWA since according to previous "processing dates", they were some 6 months behind before my date. My lawyer had no idea what was going on and with this screen shot I'm at least sure my case is in the queue.
I had to go to DMV (MVS? MVC?) the other day, and if DOL works the same way, we're lucky it's even moving. All I can say is common sense doesn't exist anymore.
I'm seriously entertaining the idea of going back to my country but I think I'll wait for some more and see if we get the green card (and then go ;). With drivers license now expiring at the same time the visa expires it's a PITA to deal with and I also miss the 5 week vacation I had there and the fact that noone looked at me like deer in the headlights and asked me to write special requests if I wanted to take more than 2 weeks in the row.
With all the outsourcing, prices and quality of life going south it's becoming worse here than where I'm coming from.

Do you have more than one application ?
 
Have you sent a query to H1B7YR@PHI.DFLC.US to find out your case details. Try sending 2-3 times and see if they return with multiple case informations. If not, then push your lawyer to contact PBEC and see what is going on.

Sandeep,

Date of acceptance for processing is your priority date. The 45 day letter does not indicates your state, just the ETA Case number. As long as you respond to the address indicated in the letter with your ETA Case number, you will be ok. Good luck.

your friend got his 45 day letter with a PD of march 2005 ?!? That is really weird but once again shows how disorganized PBEC really is :mad:

Yes Indeed. They are greatly disorganized. I saw the letter myself in real and I was very surprised.

In response to my email for 7 year ext. they didn't provide me scrren shot

what this mean's they are waiting for 45 day letter reply ?
my employer's address has been changed since then and employer didnot get the letter yet am i in touch with HR, and the lawyer is company's lawyer and i can not contact him directly.
so pl let me know what do you think they send the letter or not.
