Hi, am I going to get EAD approval notice myself or the attorney is going to get it instead?

Hi, all. My attorney filed two I 140 petitions for me. He told me one was the first preference (alien with extraordinary ability), another one is the second preference (NIW). I got one approved. The notification only says: Sec.203 (b) (2) (Mem of Profession w/Adv Deg, or of Exceptn\'l Ability). I would appreciated if anybody tell me what category it should be? EB1 or EB2?

I sent I 485 to VSC by myself. I believe it may save me some time if I will be asked for additional support evidence.... is that right?

INS have not cash my personal check today.

How could know that?

Could you please let me know how did you got the informaiton that your EADs are being approved? By calling IIO? but you need EAC first. Thanks.

1. How long does it take for the attorney to get the EAC number?
2. Do we get the AP and EAD directly or is it sent to the attorney?

INS has not cashed my personal check as of today.
 
EAD process slowed down?

December saw some people getting receipts within a week and approvals within a month. Does INS seem to have slowed down in Jan?
