Real ID ACT: Some New INformation

My thinking is as long as I get my green card who cares about illegals etc?...Weird but what karina said is totally true...if you would have asked the illegals..they would have said the same thing..

There is absolutely no hypocrisy. We are looking at things from the perspective of the country as a whole, rather than a parochial point of view.
We are the sovereign duty to protect the integrity of our borders. I am sick and tired of illegal immigrants breaking the law of the country and the people who apologize for them everyday. They are plenty of Americans (those in the inner cities) who need the kind of jobs that illegals are doing in blatant violation of the law.
 
Excuse me hampton but as someone pointed out that You were ONCE an illegal..but just because you had the privilege to apply for asylum(since your country was in shambles)...doesn't make it right for u to be "sick" of illegals..

The vast majority of illegals are NOT asylum applicants and have no remote chance of getting asylum. Do not conflate two distinct groups of people. The Real ID Act does not take away the right to asylum. It still allows asylum to be granted to people who deserve asylum. In fact it gives asylees the same status as green card holders when it comes to licenses. The asylum provisions in the REAL ID Act address the rampant fraud that plagues the asylum system. And it also undo the activist interpreations of the ultraliberal 9th Circuit of Appeal. Asylum is reserved for truly compelling situations. If its eligbility criteria were to be expanded, that would be the decision of the Congress, not liberal judges.

I think Hampton was born yesterday. Stating the obvious..the vast majority of illegals are not asylum applicants..Like DUH!! Only because Asylees are Asylum applicants..they had the privilege to let their visas expire(I claimed for asylum request at the airport with valid visa...and was held for 24 hours)...

If asylees didn't have the privilege to do that..you wouldn't be adjusted..!..Wake up and smell the coffee..You were ONCE an Illegal.

Well, it's got to be a way to fight with criminal illegals. Nobody wants another september 11. Those illiegals who wants to get an asylum just have to do it fast before their visa's expire. That's all. From my heart I want this country to be safe.
 
The funny part is..sep 11 terrorists were all legal in this country. THey had legal licenses to board the planes..They even had box cutters which were LEGALLY allowed on planes as matches are to till this date.

Everything they did was Legal..from obtaining a visa and getting a license and boarding the plane...I dont know how sep 11 and illegals are tied together as this great country of ours keeps on doing it. IT was fault of the CIA that they were sleeping....Not of the immigration in my opinion.
 
Well that's the point. In order to prevent such a situation again the government wants to come out with something like those National ID's. They were illegal but temporary legalized due to incompetency of some government employees and weak system.

Let me guess how will the national ID help??....So you are saying lets say a Saudi national walks up with his passport..then alarm bell should ring??....National ID wont help anyone..It will just cause more confusions. Tell me this...What actually do the airport screeners do now..They look at ur name and the ticket thats it...Its a joke....If they really want safety..interview every damn traveler like israel does...

It really gets to me when I witness those who forgot their roots and suddenly pretend that they have lived in this country for hundreds of years. One scholar once said that we need to change the inscriptions placed on the wall of the Statue of Liberty. Rather than the quote "give me your tired and poor," we should replace it with, “give me your tired and poor, and then once you do so, close the damn door on other tired and poor!"
