hi,
I am canadian citizen working in US on TN Visa. My wife was surprisingly given 10 years TD Visa by US Consulate India. Now my TN is expiring on Dec 2, 2007. I can go to the Border to get a new I-94. Could you please tell how I can get a new I-94 for my wife without her leaving the country. She doesnt have Canadian Visa. Can she apply for extension of I-94 from within the US.
Thanks

Yes, she can. Apply for your TN extension by mail and include her I-539 form to extend her TD (I-94) along with your I-129 (to extend TN).

Actually I am travelling out of USA in Dec, 07 and my wife is staying back in USA. If I apply for our extension with USCIS by mail, wont our application automatically gets cancelled if I leave the country.
So, if I go to the border to get my I-94 first and then apply for my wife`s new I-94 by mail thru USCIS. In that case if I leave the country, will her application be affected.
Thanks
