Re-entry permit question

Hi Everyone...

I got my re entry permit in July 2008 till July 2010. I will still be entering the US every 4 to 5 months to explore some business opportunities until I finally move to USA before 2 yrs. My questions is...

1. Is it OK to use re entry permit multiple times everytime I enter US till I finally relocate within the 2 yrs.

2. I hope that the re entry permit is not meant to be used once only when one is finally returning to US. I dont think it is but just want to be sure.

Keeping all other ties to US as needed.

-------------------- if you are entering the US every 4 to 5 months then why to use Re entry permit? you can show your Green Card

----------------- one can use Reentry Permit till it is valid (Multiple times) use it if you enter after 1 year stay out of US.if enter after 4-5 months use your GC or show GC and passport at POE

I applied for a re entry permit because when I go to the US every 3-4 months it is going to be for a few days only . Like I mentioned, once I have my personal situation solved and have found a suitable biz I will return to US before re-entry expiry.

If you are coming back to US every 5 months or before 6 months just show your GC at POE. Reentry permit is good back up if you stay out of US more than 1 year in single trip.

If it is your first time, mostly no. If it is repeated and look like a pattern (especially with no ties to US e.g. job, family), mostly yes.
