When we return from our vacation in India, we will have about 30 days left on our H1 and H4 visas. We also have our APs and EADs.

Should we enter on H1/H4 or APs?

I have related questions :

1. What happens when a person's 485 is approved while he is out of US and tries to enter US on AP or H1? Is he still fine?

2. Also, if one has just a few days left on H1 (about 10 odd) should he enter on H1 or is AP a better option?

1. No problem. During secondary inspection (if you use AP) the POE inspector will inform you that you have X number of days before you can go and get the stamping.

2. Can use either... No harm in using h1
