yeah you should be perfectly fine,till you try to renew your greencard or apply for citizenship....
i just got back from my biometrics for i-90 and they said they cannot process my application as my name on gc is diff from the name on social(they put my last name as first name on gc),even though i tried a few times to correct it the call centre rep always insisted that i get it done while getting my citizenship(n-400),when i told her(lady@biometrics app) about my conversation with call centre rep they told me tht the rules have changed....now they want a letter from indian embassy,indian embassy wants a affidavit from my lawyer and my lawyer wants a affidavit from a local lawyer from bangalore...so working on it hope it clears their doubts.
