Re-entering US by road from Canada for 4 day trip to Canada

We are planning a short (4 day) trip to Niagara Falls tomorrow and will be traveling with my mother in law who is visiting us from India on a Multiple entry B2 visa.

Her US I-94 expires in Sep 09. We plan to visit Canada in June. She already obtained her Canadian visitors visa in NYC.

We are planning on crossing Canada by road tomorrow.

My questions:

i) Will she have to surrender her I-94 when entering Canada ?
ii) Will she have to go through separate process when re-entering US ? In other words, she will have her Indian passport + US Visa + valid I94 in her possesion. Will the officer at the car lanes be able to admit her, or will we have to get out of the car and go to a separate screening process ?
iii) Any special documents to carry in addition to passport and return air ticket to India ?

Thanks

Hari

Landed Immigrant visit to USA

Hi,
I am landed immigrant from pakistan. I landed in Nov'07 with my spouse and four children.

Now I have 5 children The fifth one is born in Canada.

I have Multiple visit visa to USA for myself.

Can I visit USA with my family on PR Card or do I need visit visa for all of them including the born canadian child.

Thanks

Firstly, you should have started your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's.
Secondly, except the youngest child, the rest will need B-2 visas.

Smooth process

Thanks Triple citizen

We had no issues crossing the borders with my mother-in-law who is visiting us from india. Just the usual basic questions. They did not take away the I-94 card and we re-used the I-94 card while re-entering the US. My mother-in-law didn't even have to get out of the car.

Hope this helps all others who plan to take their relatives (who are here on visitors visa) across the border to Canada.
