Mail out 485/EAD/AP at Oct. 4th. Waiting for everything. How do you just have the RD without ND?

You are in the queue, can renew EAD & AP.
but AOS can be only approved when your priority date is current again.

When INS cash our checks?

My lawyer told me that my I-485 has been mailed to the INS about two weeks ago (around 10/17-10/19, I do not know the exact date). As of today, my check has not been cashed by the INS.

Does anyone has experience when INS cash our checks after they receive our I-485 packages? Is is righter after the package being opened, or until the data entered? For those who\'s I-485 mailed in the begining and middle of the October, would you post if your checks are cashed by the INS, and when?

Chitu, Nothing new except waiting for receipt notice.

My application has reached INS on October 5th. My checks are not yet encashed by INS. Hoping in one or two weeks I should get the receipt notice from INS.

ND = Waiting
Checks cleared yesterday.
Waiting for Receipt notice. Probably this week I may get it.
