A friend of mine with RD 2002 has been approved by texas.Texas received his RFI on oct 27,2005.He entered the US with fake document,but He didn't received RFE(I-602)

As i said before, CAp removal was great for later applicants..2002, 2003 etc. Before if your case was looked by an officer, a visa was 'saved' for you for that fiscal year, until you responded to the officers questions..

Now the process has changed from saving a visa to request for application to be complete and once an officer decides its ready for approval, they request a visa from the visa center..

My friend is RD Feb 2002 and his case was transfered to texas on Aug 2005.Did Bio code3 on oct 2005.His RFi was received by texas on oct 27,2005.Surprising thing is no RFE despite entering US with fake document(Spent 9 months in INS jail,after being caugh by IO at port of entry).As of yesterday,his case was off line and this morning he got approval e-mail.I think those whose cases are being held in Texas should expect more good news than those in Nebraska.
