Quick questions about N-400 form

Hi all,

I just wanted to ask a couple of questions about N-400 form. I am filling it out for my dad. He went to India four times during last 5 years (18 days, 16 days, 19 days, and 40 days). Does he still have to send proof(s) of continuity? And if yes, what kind of proofs? Tax-returns? Utility Bills (which I doubt he has saved)? Any other suggestions?

Also, what's the current fee? In the instruction form I read its $300 + $70 Biometric = $400. But elsewhere I read its a total of $675. Which one is it and where do I confirm? I tried calling them but they are hopeless!!

Sorry if such questions are already posted, but I am new to this forum and don't know too much about getting around here.

Thanks in advance...

It seems that your father maintained his continuous residence, so it's not necessary to submit any kind of proof. However, make sure that you list all his trips on the N-400.

The correct fee is $675. The form that you're filling out has expired over a year ago. Use this one instead: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/N-400.pdf

Oh and one more question. The form expires on 10/31/08. What should I do about that? Where do I get a new form? And if I send that one is that going to be a problem?
