I've received the Dv2005 NL recently. I understand i have a low case no. AS00002***

I was wondering is it possible for such a low number to not be invited to CP interview?? if yes, for wat reasons??

The other question is how much do one has to show in a bank acct to show as evidence of support?? I heard something like 5 times the poverty guideline. Is this true? seems like alot of money.
I have abt Us$ 30 000 and have a degree, intending to do my master's.Is this good enough?

I'm asking this cos i dun have any frens or relatives in the US.

yes, $30K is more than enough for one person. You have to show 100% of poverty level. My parents showed about $15,000 in property assets for a family of two - got a visa. And a master's degree -- very good.

the only reason for not getting an interview -- if you made mistakes on forms or didn't send something they needed, like pictures -- you would get disqualified.

Posting methods

Hello everyone
I've got the initial offer letter for DV2005. Now I've to send DSP-122 and DS-230 forms. I've some quiries:
1. At the time of DV apllication (Dec-2003) I was unmarried, and in Feb-2004 I've got married. Now what is the procedure to include my spouse in my application?
2. Do I need to write any covering letter of formal application for DV, accompanying the forms (DSP-122, DS-230)?
3. What is the posting method, i.e. do I have to post the form via regular mail, or can I use the express mail services like: DHL, FedEx.
