if one is to marry a USC, I understand there will be an interview.

In the interview, if asked, 'do you know your wife before you enter the usa'?

is it best to answer no, I did not know my wife before entering the USA?


also, if the border security knows that you are entering the usa to marry a uSC, will they immediately deport you?

You need to answer the truth. And you may not enter as a visitor WITH THE INTENTION to marry an USC. Border Security will just send you back home and not allow you in.
