Yes you should contact the Congressman/woman from the place where you live. Senator / Congressman have their sites with constituent services information. There is something called casework status and you might have to sign a disclosure form and fax them so that they can process. Fax them first the disclosure / necessary letter and then call them, immediately.
 
Noid turned out to be an RFE for EVL and paystubs. Apparently Senator's Office did not know the difference between them.

Hmm, I guess you might still have to use AC-21 though since you're going to have to send pay stubs from the new company? Hopefully the fact that you switched jobs before the I-140 was approved won't be an issue (I think some people have used AC-21 in this situation successfully in the past).

I'm in the same boat -- case is with the VSC but I live/work in the Dallas area now...
