Hello,
I am engaged to a man from Canada and need to know the cheapest, fastest way for him to obtain a green card so he can come live, and work here.
From what i was told I should marry him in Canada then send in the I-130 form on his behalf and then once he receives the green card he moves here to live with me and finds a job and we send in the I-751 form to remove the Conditions of Residence.
First question, does the I-751 form make him a citizen or do we also have to send in the N-400 (what was it 3-4 years later?) form for him to obtain citizenship?
Second question is this the fastest, cheapest way to go about things? I am currently in college so money is tight, I heard he can come over on a fiance visa but then he wouldn't be able to work, and then we would still have to send in a form for his green card so he can and that would just draw things out and make everything more expensive.
Also is it true that I do not have to file the Form I-485 seeing as i would be filing form I-751?
