Questions about moving abroad

Hello,

I received KCC email requesting me to submit my supporting documents today.
I already have them all but have one major issue.
I know for a fact I will be moving to another country in less than a month for an indefinite period.
It raises several questions for me:

1/ Should I mention it somewhere before the fact ?
2/ I will not need to provide a police certificate of that country in the first 6 months but should I already plan that my number becomes current in more than 6 months ? And prepare to request it ?
3/ When should I request an unlock to add this new address to the DS-260 ? Only when I have already moved ?
4/ Can I still have the interview in my home country ? I would feel more comfortable to do so to not have to translate the documents that are not in english
5/ (not related) Will I need to bring all of the original of the documents to the interview ? I am scared some get lost while moving.

Thank you everyone for the answers

1&3. Depending on your CN, you may update the DS260 after the move.
2. Depends on your CN - if your CN is likely to become current after you've been there for 6 months, you should plan on getting the PCC.
4. If the DS260 reflects your current address as your home address, you will be able to interview in your home country.
5. You're required to attend the interview with the original version of any document you've submitted or plan on presenting at the interview.

Thank you so much for the quick answer.
Regarding question 4, I am not sure I get it.
If I were to request a change in DS-260 I would surely put the new address as the current one.
So interviewing in home country would not be possible as new address will not be in it ?

Or should I just not mention anything and update information during interview ? I guess this is too risky ?

Yeah, that is a tricky one considering KCC schedules the interview location based on the current address listed on the DS260. I guess you'll need to figure out how to handle this. I'm not quite sure how you'll need to handle this.

Hi
I saw your post and i would like ask to know did you change your current address or how you handle it ?
My situation is similar like yours i have updated my current address to my homecountry but i m at the moment in another country.i asked here and also other forms they told me interview location will assign based on applicant current address. I m not sure it is risky or not.

Hello,

I have yet to take a decision on that. I still do not know how risky it could be but it would surely make my life easier.
