Today I have checked processing times in NSC for I-485 Employment-Based adjustment applications and processing time frames are shown as 4months.What does it mean?for us Priority Date is Jan2003 EB3 India and I485 receipt date is sep2007.will I485 be approved even though priority date is not current or should we wait until priority date becomes current even though processing time frame for I485 is shown as 4months.Please clarify my doubts

Pocessing dates apply for those with current PD. For others with no current PD, like yourself, those processing dates not apply. Do not look to any processing date unless you have current PD.

Thank you for the reply.I am having another doubt. What if the priority date becomes current and processing times are not current.Does this happen at all? Please solve my doubt

Processing dates are less strict. If your priority date is current but your processing date is not, sometimes you can still get approved.

Hi,
My PD is Nov 2000 and my processing date is April 2008.

Does this mean that my 485 has aready been processed or that they wi process is it next 4 months?

Thanks!
