Question regarding Minor

I have a question regarding the Naturalization application. We are planning on applying for naturalization. My son who will be 10yrs is a citizen of India, my question is

1. Do I need to apply N-400 or N-600 for him?
2. Do Minors become citizens based on parents Naturalization? or is there a separate process for them.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Once you become a citizen your 10 year old son automatically becomes one as well (assuming he's staying with you). You file a N-600 as proof of citizenship for him once you obtain citizenship.

If the child has a Green Card and is in your physical and legal custody the child will become a US citizen automatically when you naturalize. Look for child citizenship act of 2000 on Google for specific details. Apply for passport for your child first and then consider applying for N-600, but all these have to be done after you become a citizen, not before that.

Thanks

My son is a GC holder and is with us legally and physically :):)

Thanks for quick response.
