My dad has business visa and its still valid. He visited US many times on business and now my dad and mom would like come to US to visit me and my family. So my question is:

1) Whether my dad need seperate visitor visa to come to US or business visa will do?

2) How long stay is given by POE officer at airport for business visa now?

3) If my dad does not need visitor visa, is it advisable, my parents should go together to consulate abroad for my mom's visa?

Unless your father has legimate business he is transacting in the US, B-1 won't do. Is the passport for B-1 only, or is it B-1/B-2?

For business, I don't know. Most B-2 entries are for 180 days.

3) If my dad does not need visitor visa, is it advisable, my parents should go together to consulate abroad for my mom's visa?

I think they'll both need a visa, unless your father's indicates it's good for admittance in B-2.

Thanks TheRealCanadian for all the answers. My father presently has only B1 visa and I beleive too that he needs B2 visa to visit us.
