Question on Travel on AP

I have a pending I-485 at TSC and I am planning to travel on AP which expires Jan 2008.

My question is if the I-485 gets approved while I am out of the US what happens to the AP status?

Can I still enter the US on the AP? if not what are some other options??

I think you enter the US on AP.
