Question on I-130 - do we need to include beneficiary's birth certificate?

I am preparing to self-file I-130.

Do we need to include the alien beneficiary's birth certificate and/or passport with I-130?

A copy of the BC would be nice. The real BC will be looked at briefly somewhere along the process.

AFAIK, beneficiary's BC is not required for I-130, and nowhere in the process they will require the original BC. However, once the I-130 process is done, they will need beneficiary's BC for CP or AOS.

So no evidence required with the I-130 application then how will you proof the common parents (If you are filling for siblings) -- May be i am missing some thing here?
