Question on H4/H1 Transfer

Hi,

I got my H1 stamped recently. My wife has an appointment for H4 visa at Delhi on April 7th. Wud there be any problem for her visa, if I change my employer and transfer my H1 . Can someone advice me, whether to wait till she comes here or is it ok if I transfer my H1 to a new company.

There should be no problem in getting a visa. What matters for her H-4 is that you should be in valid H-1 status.

If you apply for an H-1 transfer and start working for the new employer, you can provide her with a copy of your new petition and the Receipt Notice for the consular interview.

Thanks for the reply. I may not be able to provide the pay slips from the new employer, right? Wudnt that be a problem?

----------- if your H1 transfer is APPROVED and you have approval Notice in hand then send her the H1 approval notice, She should show passport Visa AND H1 approval notice at POE and will get I-94 till your H1 transfer validity.
