Question on EAD for dependent

My wife is my dependent for the 485 application. She is currently on H1 .. Once she receives EAD, is it ok for her to change jobs immediately or even stop working for a few months. Once she receives AP, I am assuming it is ok for her to travel even though she may not be working.

Once she has an EAD, she can switch jobs immediately. She can stop working once the I-485 is filed; she doesn't need an EAD to not work.

Once she receives AP, I am assuming it is ok for her to travel even though she may not be working.
