I have been notified to come in for biometrics. However, currently, I am halfway across the country as a college student and cannot make it back home for the appointment. When I called the USCIS support center, they said that I should be fine just going to the application support center close to my college on scheduled time without any notice or rescheduling. Is this true? Would I just need to bring my notice and other required materials to the local application support center?
