Okay, i was on the verge of filing suit against uscis but changed my mind. A few days ago i called and was told that some information came back from the FBI. Since I recieve so many conflicting information from CSR's i decided to play it safe and call back. I called back and it has been confirmed several times that my name check finally came back on June 27th. Well, today i call because i was still not convinced and I was told that my name check came back on June 27th but a name check submitted in 2005 was still pending. What does this mean? How many name checks are done? This is rediculous. It's like ever time i get a little bit of hope it's dashed. I have to call several times to put pieces together. My guess is that the information she saw is answer to the name check in 2005 but i don't want to jump to conclusion. From my understanding there is only one name check done but several agencies are used to perform back ground checks. Does anyone know what is going on here?

How did you "receive information". If it is through a phone call to the outsourced company, you are wasting your time. They can not see name check status. You need to make an infopass appointment to find out the correct situation.

I suggest you contact your senator and see what they can tell you. generally they get infomation directly from the liason person and is more accurate. In your case if what they are saying is true it looks like you are in a bureaucratic limbo where no one wants to pick up your file because what to do when one name check came back and another did not is a discretionary matter ie they... need that little push that comes from filing a 1447b when the AUSA calls them. Then they just look at the file and see if thats something that can be easily solved and will solve it. I saw a case like yours with 2 nam echecks, 1 done one pending, who filed 1447b and AUSA filed for an extension stating that case expected to be solved soon. I' can look up and post the case number.

i called senator levins office regarding my A-file being missing at time of interview and the detroit DO was waiting for my A-file to be transfered.

senator levin office wrote me a letter saying "your case is pending final adjucation with an immigration officer and you should hear from them in the near future"

when is this near future ive been waiting for 70 days after interview , i also went to an infopass today and the officer told me they are still waiting for your file but he said i will leave a note for the supervisor to look into it for you.

by the way my name check has cleared what do u think i should do now just wait?
