Hi Ginnu,

I am waiting for my interview call at local office. I am planning to provide them my AC21 and Employment letter at the time of interview. What are the chances of officer calling my employer and checking my employment? The reason I am asking you is our HR people work in East Coast office and I am attending interview in California.

------ They dont have time, why they will cal your employer????
The reason I am asking you is our HR people work in East Coast office and I am attending interview in California.
------No problem , they need the employer letter and will ask some questions like any arrest, will confirm your address,DOB, Name,will take copy of W-2, Tax papers,may ask for I-94 or EAD AP( take two passport style photographs with you). they dont have the time. he may only read the few words of your Job duties from employer letter and may ask if the job duties are similar and you just say "YES"

Thanks for reply Ginnu. I wasn't sure if they call or not. I just had a feeling that they may call to check as I haven' filed my AC-21.
