I would appreciate if someone is able able to clarify this for me:
My husband is on h1-b in US and im on h4, we are currently planning to immigrate to Canada. Now, as far as my understanding goes, the police chk from US is done by FBI using SSN to chk fingerprints. While my husband has an SSN, i do not, so how do i go about getting my police clearance without a SSN to my name. If i were to send my fingerprints in for checking, how will they verify the same? Just want to be prepared for any additional paperwork that i may need to submit for the same, so any advice is appreciated.
