Question about N-400 Thankful please help

About the N-400 form, Part 10, B affiliations, question 8 a. Have you ever been a member or associated with any organization, association, fun, foundation, club, party, society or similar group in the United States or in any other place?


I was back home 10+ years ago volunteer in political party (non communist) and member of some bussines groups.

Of course I'm not going to lie, so I have the following questions.

Is that something that I should list?
Can it be a problem in my application?

I just checked on it, and yes is in the asylum application and in the I-485.

I'll go ahead and do the same in the N-400.

It asks to include explanations in a separate sheet, should I do it? or just fill up the little table that they provide?
