Question about marriage

sorry guys to bring this topic again..

but i have another question, may be two :)

I hate to repeat myself, but the fact is that my mom, an asylee, cosigned a loan last year ($20,000) on my counsin's behalf so that she could attend law school in the United States (on a FI visa).

I am planning to go to school and also need a loan around $20K.
is FAFSA the only place? And how hard would it be to get it?

And the last question: if you go to school in US what would you study? I mean to make a good career etc..

thanks a lot

you shoud be fine in getting the loan. The best thing is to go to school and check what kind of assistance they can give you and what are you options for loans. They will do this for you.

Regarding career ... I would suggest computers of course, but focus in system architecture and development - good money trust me. other areas, graphic design, marketing, sales ... anything with a commission. Doctor? I wouldn't because it cost too much.

Also, a good advice: if you go to community college first (much, much cheaper), then transfer after 64 credit hours to 4 year university. This is much cheaper solution then going 4 years to university. You could save up to $20,000. Hope this helps.

My best suggestion is study hard and forego most of your hobbies. I used the Kaplan book and bough the materials from the ETS. If you can afford it, take a commercial class.

Count your blessing that we do not have to deal with logic games any more.
