Question about maintaining alien address

Hi there,

I thought I'd keep this in a separate thread, but I have a question about keeping your records up to date with UCIS. In an oversight, I haven't kept UCIS informed of my various addresses in the States. I lived at one place in NJ for a while, then moved to California. Within California I had three different addresses as I subletted.

I do need to update them as a PR, right? Would it pay to update UCIS now? Is there any way to do this retroactively?

Thanks!

Yes, update them of your current address now, and try to continue updating them, or you will never receive any correspondence from them, however pressing. You won't really have any issues for the addresses you forgot to inform them of, as long as you remember them and include them in your future applications, such as the N400.

Thanks everyone, I'll be sure to update my address with them when I'm back in the States. Quick question, would it pay to have a postal address (eg PO box), or a physical one?
