I want to pay a visit to the local Immigration office to find out what is going on with my case. My 485 was pending at USCIS since May 2005. I am now in San Jose area.
When I tried to make an Infopass appointment online, they ask me to choose from the following 4 options:
1) Order from Immigration Court ...
2) Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.
3) EAD inquiry appointment - ...
4) Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.
I think none of these 4 options fits me. Is this another new evil thing USCIS does to deter people from bothering them?
What did you guys do ?
Thanks a lot!
