Question about high case number and mariage !

I used to go through old threads and I found some about transfers by hazard!
So you shoud just search it slowly you might find it to on the same forum.
Btw the best option for you is to still stick to the interview in paris and even you run outta time to update at kcc, you can always show your email update and your new forms in your hands. Let wait for the other members and see what is their input on this matter.

Hi dears,

I have engaged months after the forms submission. So, can you please guide me what i have to do to include my spouse in my case, as if i would be lucky to get an interview appointment for September? My CN is: AS1670xx

Regards

To start with, fiances are not eligible to apply as derivatives, only spouses. By the way, are you a 2014 or 2015 selectee?

Thanks for the enlightening bro.
No, i am the 2014 selectee.
Sorry for my CN mistake. It is AS167xx .

So, could you please tell me what documents or proofs are required to show we are married?

Not even sure if it's still doable at this stage for you, but I will still tell you the applicable process.

Usually when people get married after being selected, they will send an updated DS230 form for themselves, fill out another DS230 for their wife or husband (as applicable) then send both sets of forms and a copy of their marriage to KCC to inform them of their change in marital status. It usually takes KCC a couple of weeks to now update the applicants information and include the spouse on the case.

The couple is usually expected to be able to prove at the time of their interview that their marriage is genuine of course.

Thanks a lot for your information.
Please kindly put some lights on these:
1. For which reasons you think it is not doable for me?
2. We are engaged but our engagment differs from other engagements. means we have marriage certificate and all sort of proof that even there is no need for marriage party. So, can you please tell me that What sort of proofs do you think they ask for?

It's very late in the fiscal year to be trying to change things. KCC will be sending out the interviews for September - the final ones - in a month or less. At many/most embassies if your husband's name is not on the interview letter he will not be allowed inside (which means he can't interview or get a visa, you might be lucky if you go in on your own and ask the interviewing officer if they can allow him in, but in the absence of KCC authorization/background check that is by no means given).

What you need, most importantly, is proof of a legal marriage. I think we are all a bit confused here when you say your engagement is as good as marriage and you don't need a marriage. KCC will want to see proof of a spouse. Then you need to show the relationship is genuine and for this the usual things are things like, photos of all your family and friends at the wedding, photos of you as a couple in different places at different times, if you have been apart then letters/emails/call logs, shared household address/bills, and so on.
