Question about filing I-539 for visa change to F-1

Hi:
First I want to thank you for reading my thread and helping me. I know it might be a little long

I am currently a student in college. My dad's green card appliaction(I-140) was denied this Feb. Since I will be 21 this November. I can't be H-4 anymore. Therefore I am doing a change of status to F-1. I just have a few questions about answering 2 of the questions on I-539.

1. Has an immigrant petition ever been filed for you or for any other person included in this application?

I just found out that my family has filed I-485 for me too. So that question will be yes to me.

I just want to know if you answered Yes to that question, all requests of changing to F-1 will be denied or not. Is it even possible to get approved if you have Yes to that question.

Your F1 will not be rejected on this reason, but you have to write a letter that , you have done your schooling here and now you are age out.
But financial proof is vey key here to get H4 changed to F1. Do not go out side USA for visa stamping, stamping will be rejected on I 485 reason by the counsulate.

Hi, great guru, thank you for answering that question. I have the finacial docouments of enough money to support me for 1 school year. Which is required by the school in order to get the I-20 issued. Is that enough? Or do I need addition finacial supports. Thanks again.
