question about change of address

my wife and i filed i-485 under the different address
(actually in different states) because of a mistake by
the lawyer. i have got my finger printing notice but
my wife hasn\'t. what\'s the consequence of changing her
address to mine (given the change can get through INS
at all)? your help will be highly appreciated.

No dire consequances of Change of address...

Call INS, inform the correction. Write them a letter. Follow it up every month until the address is fixed. Ask them also to resend or reschedule for FP for your spouse.
