Folks,

I have got my Green Card. My wifes got an interview. at the interview we came to know that her finger prints had expired. The officer told us that every thing was fine and when her new finger prints are done then she would approve her.

WE checked about her finger prints, the immigaration officer at the local office said that her finger prints had arrived and had been connected to her file. her file was in the queue to get approved. she also said that i may take a while.

Folks, i had left my old job after 180 days. Did not inform the INS
and GOT MY APPROVAL.

Its my wifes i am worried about. DO i have to Inform INS about the change of my job NOW ?

My lawyer says NOT !!

What do ya think ?

my wifes case is in milwaukee.

her ND is off aug 18 2001. which is current accordin to the processing times.

Your lawyer is absolutely right. A dependant need not prove employment status at anytime. Once your GC is approved, that's it. Rest of the family just need to wait for their aproval.
