The number of approvals of 4/18/2003 was 21 at the previous scan on Sunday.
13 ( = 34 - 21 ) cases have been updated on Monday.
It seems to take a couple of business days for CSC to update Online status.

Atleast they approve it.. we don't need anything else but approvals at this point of time hehehe.. Wish the BCIS gets a gutt feeling that they need to clear all the Pending I485 cases asap..

Kashmir are you scanning it for the status "Approved" or for everything. See we should know that there would be ton's of cases of I485 which would not be from the Employment based immigration category. I don't know what is the difference in messages for the cases with employment based immigration and family based immigration or some other category based immigration.. So if we get to know that then i guess we might be able to scan the cases only with employment based immigration which is of more importance to all of us.

I have used offpatience's script in generating the above xls document. I do not know how to run the java programs that kashmir has written, if kashmir or anyone give me instructions of how to run the programs, I would gladly run a couple of series everyday to take off load from kashmir.

Hi Kumar

The instructions oare given on the 2nd or 3rd page of this thread.

Since I tried it yesterday you need to download Kashmir1.zip. Change it to kashmir1.jar.

Create a txt file which you have alreay done.

Download J2SE from java.sun.com

and run the following command from

C:\type <wacFile name> | java -jar kashmir1.jar > out.txt

Just double check these instructions.

Also can you create a file for WAC02094 since I am not for some reason getting any data when I run. I am sure I ammissing something.

I am not familiar with Java. I have just downloaded and installed Java on my PC. Could you send me instructions on how to run the text file which has 485 numbers ? Do I need to set any parameters ? If so, where and how do I set these parameters?

step-by-step info would be helpful. I looked at the info on 2nd and 3rd pages of this post but, its confusing for me.

Hi, kumarsaiv and h1Cycle,
Attached is Kashmir3 that is modified from Kashmir1.
You don't need to prepare a file of the list of case numbers to inquire any more.

(example)
C:\kashmir> java -jar kashmir3.zip WAC0208150001 100

For this example, it scans from WAC208150001 through WAC0208150100 for 100 cases
and writes the result of scanned status to the file named WAC0208150001-200304230521.tsv (if ibeing started at 5:21am on 4/23/2003).
