What do the processing times posted in the USCIS website mean? Can we open a case with them if it's past the date? Norfolk, VA processing time states Aug 16 2011 as of Dec 31 2011. When I go to the specific case query screen, I see the time line as 4.5 months. Also, Vermont Service Center lists 5 months for 130. My father's 485 application is past the time frame, what options do I have now? Is it possible to approach the Senator or somebody to enquire about the case?
