processing time for H1B - conrad 30/J1 waiver

Hi,


I got approval from DOS and waiting for letter from DOS.

I was told that all J1 waiver applications go to Vermont center for
H1 B processing. Is it true ?


Can somebody tell me how long it will take for H1 approval for J1 waiver ?

Will the processing of H1b applications from general quota delay
the processing of J1 waiver H1B petitions ?

Please advice me.

If you have the final waiver from the USCIS, you will be treated exactly like any one else for specific application.

once you have DOS approval, you can apply for H1B and request that they adjudicate the USCIS waiver approval at the same time. if you wait for USCIS approval, it takes many months. its best to apply for H1B with premium processing and request that they grant you the USCIS approval. if you don't apply through premium processing, the timeline is unpredictable.
