It's very unique circumstance that's probably why you are not getting responses.
8 year driver license is available to anyone with approved asylum, you don't need green card for that.
We updated ours recently, and we didn't file for GC yet.

I don’t know which state you are, but in Florida is different ,They keep giving you a yearly one even you have approved asylum until you get the green card.
My apologies, I didn't know that DMV rules are state-based.
It seems that Florida has stricter rules that NY.
I hope that your case is approved and you get your green card soon.

Hi everybody, has anyone been required to attend a GC interview for asylum based GC? If yes, can you please your experience about what did they ask, was it tough and they asked case related questions? or did they just ask admin questions?
I am in Florida and I got the 8 years drivers license. Make sure to get your permanent SSN

No, I haven’t got my green card yet. I got the 8 years driver’s license when my case was approved.

Where does it say green cards on hold?
I feel like only asylum pending cases are being paused because of the White House shooting. Also the administration seems to permanently pause a few countries immigration process. Though, It said all asylum decisions are being paused, didn’t say specifically green card decisions are paused. So I think they will still process green cards, just with more careful consideration. It’s okay keep positive hopes I just saw someone get their green card.

you wish!!but the reality is something different! you will see, all GC based on asylum will be paused or taking 2 years at least so that they make sure they got the most stricter vetting process

we’ll see, we can also check the uscis immigration data for the next few months to see what happening. There were almost 2k asylum green cards approved this September and I wish the best for everyone to get approved soon 
I feel like when there is a pause you look really happy, immediately act on it and share your thoughts. Often see your post on negative topics. Yes we all wish good things to happen and share our thoughts, lifting people emotions up. Sharing negative thoughts does not help anyone.

It’s been couple of days that everyone is under stress. I myself spent the past couple of days digging into news to find anything related to pause of I485 and I haven’t found anything. I also talked with my attorney and she said the same thing. I passed 19.5 months and already filled mandamus last month!. So imagine what I am going through in this situation!

Have you received any update on your wom ??? Any letter of the litigation court documents ? Where they served ? Please share with me
I have no answers for your questions now. I have to get in touch with my attorney and ask her about that. I will let you know asa I talk to her.
