When we join this lawsuit, what happens if there’s an error on our part, such as making some mistakes in already filed pending application? In the normal process, they will issue an RFE. Will they issue an RFE? If they do, will it go through the normal processing, or will they straight-up deny our application because we filed a lawsuit?Asylee I-485 Group Lawsuit Onboarding

Will the case go back into the regular processing flow after they issue an RFE, or do they handle it differently because of the lawsuit?
Law suits do not affect the merit or otherwise of your case, its mainly to force uscis to take the next steps without delay, whuch is why u see people who file wom get approved, some denied , its prinicipal aim is to wake them up from their slumber ! so if your next step is an RFE , u will get it and so on and so forth

Being an asylee is a valid legal status, I think they’re referring to people who are adjusting their status based on any other category.
please guys, sometimes stop post things that do not make sense. Being an asylee is a valid legal status. same thing with being a refugee. There are some jobs out there they ask sometime if you are U.S Citizen, Green Holder, Asylee or Refugee.
we already had the rfe last year for medical exams so now they are justing their time that's why we are suing
her website gives you an amount of how much writ of mandamus cost if you file by your self but this $2210 is a group lawsuit that's why is cheaper to help with the costs and we are going to be other people not just me and my husband
I want to go to the DMV to renew my yearly driver's license. I have a green card application processing, and the DMV checked through the SAVE system and told me that I can now get an eight-year driver's license. After that, my wife updated her social security info. Social Security told her that the green card was approved, so I'm not sure if that means anything. "Have you ever applied for any kind of relief or protection from removal, exclusion, or deportation?"
One lawyer said to answer “yes”, because asylum is relief, another one said to answer “no” because this question is only for defensive cases with EOIR (or if referred so deportation process is the key)
Please help with the right choice and good explanation why “yes” or “no”

Should answer Yes because i-589 is literally "withholding of removal" so that's relief/protection from removal/deportation. Obtaining asylum in office or EOIR doesn't matter since at the end of the day you get the same i-94 which is granted indefinity and you use it to prove work authorization and eventually apply for green card.
Look at it this way, you answer "No" and a USCIS officer thinks you lied or you answer Yes -even though you potentially didn't have to- and you just explain your rationale in the interview if you are ever scheduled for one and it comes up.
Also, on those set of questions most political asylees will answer yes to "have you been arrested/detained anywhere in the world" since its probably included in their declaration.
Point is: be consistent to the best of your ability

Based on your experience, when is the best time to file a mandamus? Asylum was granted in Nov, 24, I-485 was sent in Mar, 25. E-request said that the application was within normal processing time, and no inquiry has been made. Who went through this, please advise.
