The case only shows fingerprints was applied so far. I have sent inquiries, and USCIS responded to me that the case was still in normal processing time frame.

Maybe it will take several months or years. The only thing we can do is to keep hope.

If you look at the data for April and May, there’s been a significant slowdown in green card approvals. When there’s a broad policy affecting everyone, a Mandamus lawsuit may be less effective. In those cases, a class action might be a more appropriate route.
(I also filed a Mandamus lawsuit last week — I’ll update you all on the outcome, but I’m not very optimistic.)

Your case is clearly out of normal processing, I am not sure why they said your case is within normal processing
I had included my medical when filing.

I filed March 2024 and received medical RFE in December 2024

I recall someone mentioning a couple of weeks ago that they had filed for mandamus, you might be able to find their message in the earlier pages. If you have solid documentation showing that you’ve exceeded the normal processing time, followed up on your case, and reached out through your congressman, you likely don’t need to worry. My attorney said that demonstrating you’ve exhausted all reasonable efforts to move your case forward is important.
Don’t lose your hope!
You have just as much reason to be hopeful as you do to feel discouraged

Hello everyone! I wonder if someone happen to have the same situation. I have applied for a refugee travel document. I later requested to expedite via phone. After that they emailed me saying they sent my request to Nebraska service center and would reach out to me within 10 days by email. However, it’s been one month and no response. We called uscis again and they told us to just wait. Is there anything else we can do?

This is not quite true! There is a huge slowdown but not total pause
Its been 64 days since i requested expedite, hopefully now that the senate has confirmed a new director for uscis , they will inform us of whatever policies they wanna implement so we can plan our lifes.
Your lawyer has no clue what he is talking about, even on this forum people have gotten approval, sometimes i am sceptical about new members coming on this forum to spread disinformation, some of them may be acting a script..beware
