Problem at POE

Hello All,
My EAD Exprires in Dec 8 2005 and AP on Jan 18 2006. I am going toIndia from Nov 1 to Dec 18. When I come back my EAD would have expired but AP would have been valid since I am coming after Dec 8 but before Jan 18. I have already applied for EAD Renewal.In this situation will I be stopped at the point of Entry. Please Advice

-----------keep the reciept of EAD filing with you. EAD is not for entry to US EAD is for work. show the valid AP at POE

there will be no problem at all at POE. EAD has nothing to do with AP. you need only your passport with AP.

Thank you very much gogi274 for your reply about EAD vs AP that I posted.Lets hope and keep our fingers crossed that the retrogression dates
for EB2/EB3 for India is not really 1998.

Absoultely Not - You won't face trouble
EAD has no relevance when you re-enter -- all you need is the approved AP and passport.
(Look at the back of the EAD - it will clearly say its not valid for re-entry !!!)
