Premium processing versus applying at a POE

I am thinking if I should ask my employer to do premium processing vs applying at a POE which feels a little too stressful.

Does anyone know if a premium processing is any better than applying at a POE (less stressful) and does it still require an interview at a POE after premium processing?

Are you renewing? If so, the filing I-129 means you do not have to leave US at all. Adding Premium processing will get it done faster, but is not necessary if you file before current TN expires.

Thank you for your response. This would be my first TN and since there's waiting time due to appointments required at certain closeby POEs, I thought of asking my employer to rather do a premium processing, not sure if it would make it any faster or easier for everyone.

I see you have been a really great help in this forum, thought of asking another more important question;

I am planning to apply under the CSA category, I have an MBA major in Information Systems from a Canadian University. I read some conflicting information about the 3 years of experience required with a master's diploma vs only for a master's certificate. Do you know if this is a mandatory requirement with a Canadian/US master's program? and if so what kind of experience certificate would suffice? Btw, I have 10+ years of relevant experience which my employer has already varified.

Greatly appreciate your help!

I do not believe I-129 while not in US is of much value. Since you will be "re-adjudicated" ayt the border in any event.

Without a bachelors degree in closely related field, you would need 3-yrs experience along with your master's (as long as it a two year program, the type doesn't matter. You will also need to prove that whatever education you had is closely related to CSA.

Thank you, this helps a lot. Do you know what's the best way to show the experience and that education is closely related?

The experience should be in the form of letters from your employers, clients, even co-workers, documenting the three years. It should be clear that you were doing CSA work.

For education, you need to show from transcripts that you had SEVERAL CSA-related courses. That can be difficult.

TNs are designed to be for jobs in one's field of bachelor degree . Once you deviate from that, petition becomes more complicated,

Much appreciate your advice, it helps.

While I do get your point, just a thought - that a master's program should be considered more advanced than a bachelor's and serious as in one knows better when s/he does a masters program, what s/he is really good at or wants to do i.e. people doing masters in computer or business after bachelor in arts, biology, science or engineering, etc.
