pregnancy before interview

Me and my wife got interview for 24 oktobar and still waiting for 2nd letter.
I was in the states for 5 years on H2b visa and she was 2 years on the same. Few days ago we find out that she is pregnant!

I would like to know is this situation can be problem for interview?Are there anyone who was in the same situation ? My concerns are about x rays and vaccines!

x rays will not require for her.

Vaccines should not be a problem, and x-ray is not required, as said.

I and my wife passed our interview last month (dv-2007). My wife was pregnant too. She didn’t take X-ray and Vaccines, nevertheless she received visa.

X ray no need but Hospital gave us a Vaccine records sheet which should be present at port of entry. If my wife gets to states after the baby's birth she should complete the vaccines before otherwise no need.

Hi Joy,
They care about health more than what we think. it dosn't differ if the principal or derivate is preqnant. What harms human life is not allowed.

Thanks siamak but i really wish to know if the absence of the X rays might lead to a situation where the consular officer could say that the individual couldnt convince them with the Medicals that she is eligible for the DV visa.

We found out my wife was pregnant the day of the medical in London. She consequently wasnt given an x-ray or anything that might affect the baby. This was in January 2007. We did the interview the following week, got our visas mailed to us the next day, and travelled to the US a few months later.

2 weeks ago our baby girl was born in Los Angeles.

We received our green cards 3 weeks after entering the US.

So, my friend, there is no need for you to worry about anything.

it's a skin test for Tb. If it's positive, then you get x-rays, but not if you are pregnant.

Girl friend is pregnat about 9 weeks and we sttıl dıdınt marry case number ıs eu3xx ıntervıew must be scheduled ın fırst half october.

--İf we send 2 WEEKS after, marital status changıng and girl friend's ds-230 is it too late to send kcc.
--Can she come to usa 1 month after me
--what about if she to give bitrh , before goıng to usa:S
-- M I must fill the ds-230 and dsp-122 agaın for kcc.

i think it's best u guys get married before ur interview date[its not too late too send forms to KCC.all u need is to inform KCC about it.should u get ur Visa after which u marry her,she wont be immidiately entitled for an immigration Visa

two weeks after what? two weeks from now? it's fine. It's not too late till about August 2009. The interview may not be scheduled for October anyway.

if yo are the winner, and you both get visas - yes. If she is the winner - no, she'll have to enter with you, or before you.

Either way - this has been answered on this forum already.

if you get married now, you have to submit the forms for both of you if both of you want visas. If the child is born before the interview (before you get your visas), but after the case is sent to the consulate, you can send the forms for a child and corrected forms for yourselves to the consulate. Or you can bring them to the interview. The child will need a visa.

If the child is born after you got your visas, you will need to get a transportation letter for him at the consulate. No visa is required for the child.

--If interviewer issue a visa the birth will be after visa. If they require additional evıdence (I-134) maybe after visa or if they check for administartive process after visa Thats why dıdınt wrıte this.

-- so undurstand i ll submit the dsp-122 and ds-230 for me ds-230 for she and one foto for each of us. And Marriage certficate and translate of it.

it may be scheduled any time AFTER the number is current, but will not necessarily be scheduled for the month when it becomes current. If your consulate has time for you in December, that's when they will schedule your interview, even if your number is current in October.
