My prayer goes to people that are injured and displaced.I pray for peace to reign in Venezuela.Are private TV station shut down?

Thank you samolaniyi. No, private tv stations are not shut down, but while at CNN you can see the protests, the attacks, the injured, at private stations you can see a girl cooking soup. They are not shut down, they are self-censored.

When such situation occurred in Nigeria in January 2012,about 3 private TV stations aired the protest and everyone that could not go watch it live even all over the globe.I pray peace return there.

Of course, there's a lot of problem that I wouldn't even begin to understand. Things will not improve overnight even if this government steps down by the end of this day, but that's not an excuse to do nothing.

Stay safe. In a short while you'll be out of it anyway.

Things are getting worst around here. Just last night some government's followers went out to the streets shooting at buildings and people. Yesterday our country broke diplomatic, political and economical relations with Panama... because Panama called to an OEA meeting to discuss what is happening here. Also expelled OEA officers from Venezuela, and shouted that "we don't want you here".

So, I have a very slow and complicated internet speed. I came to work today for the first time in 8 days (I wasn't able to get out of my house) and catching up with this... my greatest hope.

Now... Scared that our country breaks relations with USA...

Coming from a country that is run by nutjobs myself, I totally understand the fears and pains of uncertainty. I have you in my thoughts and wish the best for Venezuela.

I'm really sorry for what is happening in your country.it's unfortunate.I will advise you to observe the situation for a month since you have a high case number,if the the situation persist,then transfer you case as soon as possible,but make sure you confirm from kcc before doing so.

Yeah, well... I guess it will depend on wheter USA decides to freeze the assets in the states belonging to (or stolen by) venezuelan government officers. If that happens, we surely will cut diplomatic relations (they have all our money up there) and then... I'LL RUN TO CHANGE MY EMBASSY! ;)

Yeah, I guess you can always go to Colombia and apply from there.
