Postinterview Anxiety. Please advise!

Hi guys,

I tell everybody that there is need to be too nervous before the interview, but now I have my postinterview anxiety.

A couple of problems:
1. I had my interview on Monday, November 9 and the on-line status is not changed even though I have my oath letter. What shall I do?
2. I need to go to my home country before the oath in January, therefore I will answer "Yes" to one of the questions on the back of the oath letter. I know that I can do that, would it influence the oath ceremony in some way?

Please advise!

1. Do nothing. Relax, enjoy the coming holidays. You have your oath letter.
2. No, enjoy your trip. It only influences if you're on the edge of breaking continuous or physical presence in the US. How many days out of the US you had in the last 5 years (or 3 if applying based on marriage)?

1. Hey there is nothing to be worrying about. I had my interview 3 weeks ago, and my online status still says - Testing and Interview. I'm taking Oath this Friday. Hopefully will be there at time(( - gotta drive 200 miles.
2. Hey, you will go your country of origin in January with US Passport. If your Oath will be scheduled in January, just send them letter back and ask to reschedule due to overseas trip.

First, congratulations sarrebal!

My GC was employment based and during 5 years I was 92 days out of the country. So, 14 days more would probably not make a difference, but I am just wondering: at what part of the ceremony they look at this data and if it would be a delay for everybody else participating in the ceremony?

Uncle Joe, my oath is on January 28 and I am leaving with my current passport in December and back in January before the oath. I hope that my "YES" answer to all these questions that are supposed to have "NO" answer will not delay anything during the ceremony.

What do you think?

In my case IO who was collecting GC, asked that questions at the same time which was first step of ceremony and he was marking each question with red pen just like interview so if there is any problem you will know it in very beggining of oath ceremony and I doubt if you will have any problem for short trip like this if it does not add to other trips and breaks your continues residency.Other than that don't even worry about.

Depends when you going back!:D
If it's a short tip, I don't think that's gonna be an issue.
