No matter what your opinion of Indie with his threat and Kashmir with his requests for donations, one thing is certain, we are all far poorer as a community with the lack of information on case tracking. This community over the last 6 years has had one form or another of case tracking going on and it has been the lifeblood for those who have to endure the torturous wait of USCIS.

There has been a lot of discussion about the recent events and I've decided to put a poll here for people to express their opinion without having to get into a long emotive discourse on what they think.
 
Could you elaborate more on the topics? Like what is the difference between Suggest and demand? What disclaimer are you talking about? And as far as someone else running the scripts is concerned - won't the same problems apply?

I think request and demand should be synonomous

As for a disclaimer, I think something that would state this is voluntary, not to rely on this info and basically remove any perceived litigation away from Kashmir

May or may not be if someone else runs them, just a suggestion in case Kashmir has had enough of running them

...

Well there you have the results of the "unscientific" poll

The clear messages are that 32 out of 35 respondents believe there should still be a Project Kashmir

And over 50% believe Kashmir should suggest (not require/demand) a donation.

The question is legality of such scans and it's not about whether to continue or discontinue the project.
Based on Kashmir's reply for the same it looks like he has some answer for the legal issue, let's wait for Kashmir's reply.
