Political Detention

Is this the same detention you're referring to in your previous post? Did you previously disclose it on your asylum case?

Always best to disclose something you did on a previous form.

Assuming the OP's home country is a country USA does not like, is such political detention a positive factor or not?

How can you prove such detention? I doubt one can get such a police
report.

I did my interview tow days ago and everything went OK.

I did disclose my political detentions "one in 92 and other in 99" to the officer then she read through my A-file and told me nothing to wary about.
At the end she handed me the N-652 'decision can not be made '
also she mentioned I may need to come to sing sworn statement.

Overall the officer was very professional, but she told me she got my file like just before the interview since one office call sick.

My concern is how long do I have to wait till I get any response from them?

I believe you have 120 days before you can being proceedings to force them to make a decision. You will probably soon receive a letter if they need more information etc from you. Just do what it says in that letter otherwise wait it out and then check the "sticky" post on the first page of this website.

My other concern is I will not be able to bring any court or police reports for those detention since they happened outside the USA and in country has bad relation with the USA.

After the interview the officer gave me some contact information to use if I did not get any respond after 60 days.

I'm crossing my fingers and waiting. !!!!!!!!!
