Poland & Russia - visa & RP questions

Poland is now part of the Schengen countries. Does anyone know if Poland recognises RP? What is the processing time for applying a visa?

Also, What is the processing time for applying a Russia visa for RP holder? It is the usual 10 days?

I am presuming that Poland recognizes RPs. Their visa application form on their embassy website has a box for alien passports, which should encompass RPs.

I do not think I can help with processing times.

So did you receive a new RP?

Thank you for getting back to me. No, I am still waiting for my RP. I am getting so frsutrated with the delays of processing RP. I thought the increase of application fees was meant to improve the process.

BTW, is RP consider Alien's passport? I would pick "Other travel document" as the option.
