Question No 1
Traffic Ticket,

I have had the following incidents in the past 5 years:

About 4 years ago : I was driving with my International Driving License and being here for over 4 or 5 months, and I thought according to the international driving low, I can do so up to 6 months, but the police officer give me a ticket and said in MN you are allowed to use Int’l DL for only 60 days, I went to the complaining office (maybe called court) and they made me pay only half of the fine ( from $150 to $75)

Also about 4 years ago: I had a stupid accident involvement, where I stopped in a small street for few kids with bike to cross, which they did and the last one of these group of kids fall from the bike to my front car and then to the follow (the bike too big for the kid) and start crying… and few ppl with the kids start to gather… very stupid situation, I didn’t move my car at all, and it happened to have a police men saw the whole thing but he wasn’t in duty neither in a uniform, he told me don’t worry, then police car came in and made a report, and a ambulance took the girl, nothing was filed ageist me, and no body called me , and nothing happened to the girl, but I went at the time to the traffic records or something like that and took a copy of what the police man report, and at the end of that report he stated “I was unable to determine who was at fault at this time. NO ‘a word I can’t read like : cifertiuns/c.tertruns ‘ issued”

Now should I mention the above in my N-400 form, and where it ask about traffic tickets in the form..

And should I attach copy of the ticket of the first case and the report I got for the 2nd case

Question No 2

One more questions, I am submitting the N-400 based on 90 days before my 5 years continues residency in US, is it enough to mention my address for 4 years and 9 months in US only or I have to go back more just to cover the 90 days.. and that’s an overseas address.

Question No 3

Some one I think Highlander was talking about that we can submit Fedex airway bills along with the N-400 form to be used by USIS on all the corresponding …how that will be done if you can cover that in detail.. I never tried or heard of that…

Question No 4

Do the USIS go and contact your previous jobs place to ask about you in any way … like why was this person was faired ( about 4 and half years a go I lost one of my jobs because some employees reported that I argued about some politic issue…I never did.. they didn't even form any investigation .and just got terminated like that)

Thanks in advance for everybody's help

being careful is ok, but ...

This is what happens when people have a clean record. They just look for all possible incedents, however super minor they be, to ask about when they file N-400. Wish people with issues that has some meat in it post asking questions and sharing experiences in this forum.

...

Maybe when I get my CS I will be laying back like you. + if someone have a case with “some meat in it” like you saying, will not bother to post it here… with no doubt he/she will be going to a lawyer… plus I have other complicated things that if my case went to a bad officer ..that officer will be looking into this little staff to delay/denial my case …when I am done I will be posting my experience in this forum … thank you tough for your reply

And for anyone out there with answers to all/part of my questions ..or had similar situation ..I would really appreciate if you share the info. .

Thanks for everyone for their help

Still no answer...

At least answer to the following

Now should I mention any traffic ticket like the above in my N-400 form, and where it ask about traffic tickets in the form.. how do I mention it?

Please help

1) This is the most contentious question on this forum ("should I mention traffic tickets'?"). My take, if you get a "citation", (like a speeding ticket), yes. Many people say no. On this forum, expect to get both answers. In your case, your first situation is "borderline" at best, your second does not deserve mention at all. (by the way - I do not mean to start a discussion about this) Don't worry.

2) Doesn't really matter. If you feel the need to have a nice address record, wait 90 days and file after 5 years. Waiting is good practice for the rest of this process. Don't worry

3) I've gone to the post office and sent all my correspondence with the USCIS via certified mail with return receipt. It costs about 5 dollars, gives you a positive receipt (a physical date-stamped receipt (that I would tape to the copy of the correspondence that I kept)) and works. I think the guy who made such a big thing about FexEx worked for them.

4) No (as far as I know). It wouldn't matter anyway. Unless you advocate the overthrow of the government by force (or any of the other Yes/No N-400 questions), you are entitled to free speech in this country. Getting fired is not a "crime of moral turpitude".

In general, don't worry -- although you hear horror stories on this list, it is because the vast population of N-400 applicants zip through the process without incident and never bother to search the web and find this forum. The folks who post here tend to be the ones where something in their application screws up.

Good luck

Thank you very much guys for the help .....

- About the traffic tickets ..I wasn’t consern neither I was going to mention that in my application ..but when I was reading somewhere in this forum I read that some ppl did mention that in their application .. (and about N-400 saying not to mention any traffic ticket less then $500 ..never read that in the instruction ..but maybe I missed it)

-About the FedEx …because I liked the idea of trucking any mail that they may send thourgh the internet ..that way I can provent missing any of the letters that they going to send to me …like some ppl miss their interview letter for no reason.. plus that I may move within 3 months ..

- I have a last ..question …sorry for asking that late too …

In the detail instruction I found out the following
“If you have taken any trip outside of the United States that lasted for 6 months or more since becoming a Permanent Resident, send evidence that you (and your family) continued to live, work, and/or keep ties to the United States, such as :
q An IRS tax return “transcript” or an IRS-certified tax return listing tax information for the last 5 years (or for the last 3 years if you are applying on the basis of marriage to a U.S. citizen)”

So.. I really don’t have those transcript ..and I read online ..and if I order them they going to take about 2 weeks ..no time ..I really need to finish this nightmare and send my application now …so can I include my copy of the tax return that I filed for the last 5 years …and see if they going to ask for the transcript from me in the interview letter ..

Would that be a smart choice …or they going to return my application after 3 months for insufficient document … I would doubt that thought

Thanks you very much again for the great help ..I realy appricate it ...

....any help guys at all ...
